Your point about clients needing to see and speak to their lawyers is a great one. With today's technology, it's easy to create a home office with everything you need. If you regularly meet with clients, though, you need to consider where you will meet them when you no longer have a separate office. Are you comfortable with them visiting your home office, or do you feel that makes you seem less professional? Same with meeting them at a third party location.
Of course, different types of practices have different types of clients who expect different things. That's why it's always best to consider your own clients and their expectations before making any major changes to your practice.
