True cost of blogging is at least $20,000 per year

Hi Ed,

My take would be that blogging falls under the category of 'non-billable time', similar to other marketing activities. Do you think describing blogging as a 'cost' is really fair?

At most I'd think of it as a 'soft cost', perhaps an 'opportunity cost', but more realistically just a part of doing business. Everything else you wrote regarding strategy, focusing, and expecting a return for one's efforts were nicely stated. :-) [/quibble]
